Hi, I’m Lucy and I’m a photographer from York. My aim is to tell stories and document life.

 

I offer relaxed, modern photoshoots which document your special days and every-days in a creative and timeless way. With an emphasis on fun and laughter, i hang around with you, blending into the background and capturing the images to tell your story. 

 

When it comes to family shoots, I have worked with pre-school groups and the charity 'Wouldn't Change a Thing', so I know what it takes to make little ones feel at ease and relaxed with the camera. I’m a Mum of two young boys and my photography style is testament to the relaxed nature and sheer determination I have had to develop chasing them around with a camera! 

 

Alongside my wedding and family photography, I work on projects within the community, documenting real people and real life. My Doorstep Portraits project during spring's lockdown was featured across the local media and even caught the attention of The Beatles! I also work alongside other York based creatives bringing art and design projects to life. I grow my street photography portfolio on my travels, but being a northern girl, i'm always brought back to our Yorkshire towns, cities and coastal communities. This love of people watching and documenting fully transfers into my photoshoots for you.
